MID PENN COMMONWEALTH:

Top Dog: Cumberland Valley

This is a CV team that went 21-6 last year, and while they did lose center Dejah Hill, I think they'll be completely fine. With Sophomore, Sienna Manns and University of Pittsburgh basketball commit Jill Jekot running the backcourt, it is hard to see any team really contending with them. If these two can get chemistry going quick, and click with the rest of the team, they will be scary late in the season.

MVP: Jill Jekot, Cumberland Valley

As I mentioned earlier, Jekot is probably your favorite to win the MVP here. She should be getting the ball even more this season, as she looks to really show off and lead her team. With the main competitor for the ball gone, and the team leader in assists due to get a bigger role, I'd be surprised to see anyone other than the D1 commit, take this home.

MID PENN KEYSTONE:

Top Dog: Cedar Cliff

This team was absolutely elite last year. After boasting an incredible 29-2 record over the entire season, including a trip to the state playoffs, it's hard to see this team not repeating. With Olivia Jones and company coming back, it's a scary time for the Keystone division. Jones now going into her sophomore season, while she killed it as a freshman playing a bit of wherever, I fully expect to see her make a big leap, and that's why,

MVP: Olivia Jones, Cedar Cliff

Most of the time, top players on top teams win it. Jones did it all for CC last year, and if they want to replicate the success they had previously, it starts with her. Jones has all the tools like I mentioned to make that leap, the key being her ability to move around. We saw her play PG, SG and even SF, diversity in where she can play makes her a matchup nightmare and should make it tough on opposing teams.

Mid Penn Colonial:

Top Dog: Big Spring

Quite literally our top dogs are the Big Spring Bulldogs. Despite losing your captain and leader in Laney Noreika, you still have a lot of talent in a not so talented vision. Looking from an eagles view, the Colonial division is probably the weakest overall due to all the other divisions being so loaded. I think they'll take advantage of this and with their coaching, pull it out despite losing their leader.

MVP: Mackenzie Stoner, James Buchanan

Stoner is returning as the leader of this James Buchanan team and all eyes are on her. She was Mid Penn division first team for a reason, bandshell prove it again this season. Stoner will have to step up if they really want to battle for that title an I think she will. Up to her and that James Buchanan squad to see how much chaos they can brew in the Colonial division.

MID PENN CAPITAL:

Top Dog: Trinity Shamrocks

The Shamrocks are my take to win this division. In an absolutely loaded Capital division, I think they'll stand out amongst the rest due to their upcoming stars. Mandy Roman who led the team in point last year is set to be backhand with her at the helm I think the Shamrocks can be scary. It will really just come down to how they handle those tough games versus McDevitt and Middletown, but I think they can handle it.

MVP: Addie Huber, Middletown

A younger player then we've seen but nonetheless an All-star in the making. Huber shined for the Blue Raiders last year as she lit up teams from beyond the three-point arc, and I fully expect to see her do it again. With returning help from Junior, Peyton Attivo and upcoming Freshman, Jayla Koser, this Middletown team could be a pesky thorn in the side of trinity with Huber leading them.
